Jordan (she/her/hers) earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Marquette University (2004), and an MFA in Lighting Design from The Ohio State University (2008). Her MFA thesis explored the world of European cabaret from 1890-1933 as part of the design process for the collaboratively devised production of Wild Stages: Kabarett MFA!

Jordan worked as a freelance lighting designer in Chicago from 2008-2019, designing and assisting on well over a hundred shows with various companies around the city. After a longer-than-planned pandemic-induced design hiatus, Jordan is now reviving her work as a lighting designer. Jordan was born and raised in Chicago and currently lives in Philadelphia.
